Get out the brown bags, Bengals fans. That was one of the worst nights ever for a franchise that’s had hundreds of them.
Battle for Ohio? The Browns could have gotten a more spirited game from Urb’s Buckeyes. And don’t tell me you’re surprised. This is how it goes with these guys. If it’s a lazy Sunday afternoon against some nothing-team… The Bengals look like world beaters. But drop them into a night game against pretty much anybody who matters… The Bengals are the league’s biggest losers.
I’ve seen stupid sitcoms cancelled during the first commercial break who do better in prime time than Cincinnati. We’ve seen Andy Dalton play terrible in a big game. Last night he looked like he’d never played the SPORT. I know a lot of franchise qbs think rules don’t apply to them…but the rule about not passing behind the line of scrimmage does. Especially when you’re almost 5 yards past it.

But I can totally believe the Bengals got embarrassed like this. I said it on CBS last month: Who Dey think gonna beat dem Bengals??? Anybody at the big boy table. They’ve got nice players, a good coach, and… a glass jaw in games that matter. They’re not one of the best teams in the AFC… They’re officially the worst team in Ohio.
